Jason's Beach bungalow was perfect for our stay. it works very well for two couples, two bedrooms two bathrooms and the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, for privacy. but the best thing about this cottage was the proximity to the beach., a trail leading straight from The bungalow to the beach. we appreciated seeing beautiful sunsets right from the kitchen table. and we're excited to find a delicious Indian food truck just a mile down the road!

This was a wonderful choice for a week’s stay with my 2 small dogs. The beach walks were long and all human and dog interactions were friendly. No one seemed particularly concerned with off-leash dogs, though mine are good with verbal commands. The bungalow had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. The hosts were very responsive. The sunsets were wonderful and right out the front windows. The beach access is steep loose sand, but easy to go down, even at 78. I found places to come up just a block or so away that were easier. The front area on the bluff is not private, though only a few people walked by. Rockaway is a nicer small town to me than the super-busy bigger beach towns. We had the beach almost to ourselves at times. Definitely would recommend!!

A beautiful and peaceful retreat, it was absolutely spotless and comfortable just steps from the ocean. Bed was very comfy, there were plenty of towels, the space is aesthetically lovely and beachy—obviously this place has been thoughtfully curated. Hosts were responsive and kind, and truly, being able to walk over the dune onto the beach which was huge and open and never crowded at all, was perfect. We would come back and stay here again in a second. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

Absolutely LOVLEY place to stay. When it says a short walk to the beach, it really is a SHORT walk. The kitchen has basic essentials, and ice cube trays in the fridge. Bathrooms fully stocked with what you might need. The beds were so comfortable! There are also movies and puzzles in the living room. My only complain is there are no blinds for the front door. Highly recommend everyone stay here at least once if you are an avid beach walker and enjoy undisturbed sunsets.

We had a family of 3 staying at this listing and had a wonderful time. You can hear the sound of the wave at night and very peaceful environment. The property is tucked away from the ocean breeze but easy to get a view in, let along a private access to the beach. The house is in great condition, had all the utensils you would need. Looking forward to staying at this listing again!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Steps away from a beautiful beach and felt relatively private. A nice and cozy stay for our family of 4. The extra bathroom was a plus as well as being dog friendly. Co-host was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location and adorable place to stay! They must have the best cleaners ever as, in true beach fashion, there was sand everywhere by the end of our stay but the place was completely sand free when we arrived. Was great to open the windows at night and sleep to the sounds of the ocean. Host was able to let us check in a bit early as we got into town a little early. Loved how free of people the section of beach was even during the height of tourist season.
